Join Melisande Turpin & Robyn Anderson for a seven-night retreat at Swell Guatemala in El Paredón, Guatemala.
This immersive retreat is designed to help you reconnect with the many layers of yourself: body, mind, heart, and spirit. Throughout the week, we’ll rediscover what it truly means to feel nourished and well through the lens of yoga, movement, mindfulness, and connection.
Each day offers a thoughtful blend of energizing yoga, guided meditation, inspiring workshops, chef-prepared meals, spacious free time, and optional adventures including surfing, kayaking, massage, and exploring the local culture. Together, we’ll discover that wellbeing isn’t found through doing more, but by listening more deeply to what we truly need.

- Every retreat unfolds a little differently, and this schedule is simply a guide to give you a sense of the rhythm of our days together. The exact timing may shift depending on the group’s interests and any optional activities we choose to enjoy throughout the week.
- 7:00 – 7:30 AM: Meditation
- 7:30 – 9:00 AM: Breakfast
- 9:00 – 10:00 AM: Optional Activities
- 10:00 – 11:30 AM: Energizing Flow Yoga
- 12:00 – 1:30 PM: Lunch
- 1:30 – 4:00 PM: Optional Activities
- 4:00 – 5:30 PM: Workshops & Restorative Yoga
- 6:00 – 7:30 PM: Dinner

Garden Suites with A/C
The Aqua, Koko, Luna, and Salty rooms offer peaceful, air-conditioned accommodations inspired by Swell’s signature tropical design. Each room features a queen bed, private bathroom and inviting outdoor space, creating the perfect place to relax and recharge. Rooms are assigned on a first-booked, first-choice basis.
Swim Up Suite with A/C
A peaceful, air-conditioned sanctuary with direct access to the infinity pool from your private terrace. Thoughtfully designed, each suite features a cozy lounge area, private bathroom, and Swell’s signature outdoor garden shower. Available with one queen bed or one queen bed + one single bed.
Surfer Suite with A/C
Perfect for friends travelling together, this shared group accommodation offers a fun, social atmosphere while maintaining comfort and style. The spacious air-conditioned suite features two queen beds, one single bed, a private garden terrace, and Swell’s signature outdoor hot-water shower.
Deluxe Casita with A/C
Enjoy the privacy of your own tropical hideaway. Featuring a full kitchen, comfortable living area, private terrace with a hammock, and Swell’s signature outdoor garden shower, the Deluxe Casita is thoughtfully designed for rest, relaxation, and feeling right at home.
La Palma no A/C
A spacious, thatched-roof studio designed for friends travelling together. Featuring two queen beds, a cozy lounge area, private bathroom, and Swell’s signature outdoor garden shower, La Palma offers beautiful views of the tropical gardens and surrounding volcanoes for a truly unique stay.
La Cabana no A/C
Experience the charm of tropical living in this cozy, thatched-roof cabana surrounded by lush gardens. Featuring a queen bed, private bathroom, and outdoor shower, La Cabaña offers a peaceful and authentic retreat just steps from the beach.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. The remaining 50% is due by January 10th, 2027.

Travelling to Swell
Swell is located approximately two hours from La Aurora International Airport (Guatemala City). Guests can easily reach the retreat by Swell’s shuttle service, booked through the hotel.
